C.R. Gentry Appointed as Business Development ExecutiveFor Immediate Release August 5, 2002 – CanWeb, the exclusive provider of DynIPTM DNS services, announces the appointment of Mr. C.R. Gentry, as vice president responsible for business development. Gentry will take a lead role in managing and further developing CanWeb’s strategic business alliances and in identifying new opportunities to strengthen and expand its Internet products and services. He reports to CanWeb President David Grant. “Software and hardware developers are taking greater interest in DynIP’s ability effectively to meet consumer demands for more mobile access to their computerized appliances,” said Grant. “C.R. has the high level of product and marketplace knowledge to help form the type of alliance that would be good for CanWeb, the strategic partner and the customer.” With over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, Gentry’s expertise encompasses all aspects of business management, including software development, project financing, product marketing, e-commerce and technical support services. Prior to joining CanWeb’s senior management team, he was the co-founder and manager of Uniserv Systems Incorporated, an IS consulting firm serving such clients as Fred Meyer Inc./Kroger’s, Egghead, the Seattle Supersonics and Weyerhaeuser. Gentry holds a degree from studies at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and Highline College.
